Bridge # 1

A minor bridge was crossed on friday, June 30, 08. Venu and I went to meet Shyam Benegal. he had taken a appointment for his film called Yashoda. venu wants him to direct it for him. they have worked together in the past. shyam babu did a TV series for him. i also hitched piggy back, since i wanted to meet and ask him to consider me for his upcoming international film Buddha. i did get an audience for a minute with him. he knows me by face. he asked, 'how are you?' 'fine' I said. then i told him that i wanted to be a part of Buddha for 2 reasons. One to work in a project with him as director and 2 Buddha is my favorite person and subject. any way, he said there is still a lot of time for it to start. he also asked me what was i doing currently. i said television. he reacted as though that it was below the bench mark. i told him that i worked for Plus for allof its 11 years. venu too filled him, 'he also worked with navketan'. i am planning to redraft my CV and mail it to him in a concise form.

as i said a minor bridge of; 'meeting him and expressing my wish' has been crossed. i shall be walking till the next one appears.
